Meet Admirim – Development Engineer at MetisMotion
July 1, 2026

Meet Admirim Sheholli, one of the engineers helping shape the future of motion at MetisMotion.
From Kosovo to Munich, Admirim’s journey has been driven by curiosity and a passion for science and technology. After completing his Master’s degree in Power Engineering at the Technical University of Munich, he joined MetisMotion as a Development Engineer in the Research & Development team.
Whether he is automating test procedures, validating new technologies, or diving deep into hardware design, Admirim brings a thoughtful and practical approach to engineering. He enjoys turning ideas into reliable solutions and sees every challenge as an opportunity to learn and improve.
What stands out most is his enthusiasm for innovation and his willingness to continuously develop new skills. In a startup environment, where adaptability and teamwork matter just as much as technical expertise, Admirim combines analytical thinking with a collaborative mindset.
Today, we’re excited to introduce the person behind the engineering work and let you get to know him a little better.
We asked Admirim a few questions to get to know him better.
What originally inspired you to work in engineering and technology?
“I was always passionate about natural sciences — especially mathematics and physics. I was also very interested in computers and technology in general, so becoming an engineer felt like a natural path for me.”
What do you enjoy most about being part of MetisMotion?
“For me, MetisMotion is a place where I can face different challenges every day and continue learning. It combines electronics, mechanics, and software, which makes it a great opportunity for growth. I also enjoy being part of such a great team.”
What kind of problems do you enjoy solving?
“I enjoy a broad range of challenges — software, hardware, actuator control, and also understanding customer requirements. Talking directly with customers and finding practical solutions for their needs is something I really like.”
What do you enjoy most about the team culture?
“Everyone is willing to help when needed. Beyond work, we also communicate like friends, talk about hobbies, and even plan activities together.”
What technology currently excites you the most?
“Artificial intelligence is exciting for everyone in engineering right now. But it’s also important to think carefully about how we implement and use it.”
And outside of work?
“I enjoy sports played by hand — especially tennis, ping pong, and badminton. I also love travelling, discovering new places and cultures, and meeting new people. I’m a big sci-fi fan and enjoy TV series because I enjoy getting into long and detailed storylines. Whenever I have free time, I like being in the mountains — hiking, breathing fresh air, and simply enjoying the views.”

Coffee, tea, or energy drinks? – “Coffee”
How would you describe MetisMotion in three words? – “Sustainable, collaborative, and challenging.”
If you could instantly master one skill, what would it be?
“Outside of work, I would choose to become a master at tennis. Professionally, I would love to instantly master electronics design at the highest level.”
Dream technology to work on?
“Space technologies — I’ve always been fascinated by what exists beyond our world and would love to contribute to that field one day.”
At MetisMotion, Admirim combines technical curiosity with a collaborative mindset and a strong drive to keep learning. Whether working on engineering challenges, developing new skills, or exploring future technologies, he approaches each opportunity with enthusiasm and a desire to make a meaningful impact.
